The Drywall Barn is moving forward at its new location in Austintown. Funding from 1st National Commonwealth Bank and the Mahoning Valley Industrial Loan Fund, through MVEDC, assisted in the renovation of an existing building on Meridian Road. The wholesaler offers drywall, insulation, metal framing, ceiling tile, wall panel systems, and other construction supplies.

The Mahoning Valley Economic Development Corporation is a partnership of public and private interests focused on the revitalization and diversification of the Mahoning Valley in Northeastern Ohio.
Robert Berk has moved Berk Paper and Supply into a new facility on Thomas Road in Warren. Founded in 1954 by Robert’s father Harold Berk, the company supplies concessionaires, circuses and restaurants with a diverse product line. Purchase of the new facility was made possible by Cortland Bank, a Regional “166” loan, an SBA 504 loan, and the Mahoning Valley Industrial Loan Fund through MVEDC, as well as a Trumbull County Community Development Block Grant.
Zidian Manufacturing Company is expanding its line of high quality Italian food products to include Summer Garden Foods. The equipment purchases needed to expand to the Summer Garden Foods line were made possible by National City Bank, and loans from the “Regional 166” programs through the state of Ohio and the Mahoning Valley Industrial Loan Fund, through MVEDC.
