Color 3 Embroidery is serving the contract embroidery needs of wholesale customers. Traci Miller started Color 3 as a home-based business in 1996. The company has since grown to become a wholesale supplier of custom embroidered products for the promotional products industry, soft goods manufacturers, silk screen companies and retail embroiderers. The company employs six at its location on Youngstown- Warren Road in Niles.
With financial assistance from Consumer’s Bank, as well as Regional “166” and USDA RBEG loans through MVEDC, Barclay Machine has purchased a Clausing Heavy-Duty Flat Bed CNC Lathe and accessories and made necessary renovations to its building in Salem.
Checkered Express, a trucking company specializing in non-hazardous material tanker hauling, is expanding into a new building on Ohltown-Girard Road in Weathersfield Township. With nearly 20 years experience in the trucking industry, Csaba Bujdoso started Checkered Express in 2000. Expansion funding was provided by Consumers National Bank and the Mahoning Valley Industrial Loan Fund through MVEDC.
FiNet is now providing its merchant payment processing solutions from a building on California Avenue in Boardman. FiNet provides payment services to over 7,500 merchants in 34 states. The company supports its merchants with credit and debit card processing, check guarantee and conversion, and processing for gift, loyalty and pre-paid cards. The purchase of the building was made possible through Farmers National Bank and an SBA 504 loan through MVEDC.
The Higgins-Reardon family of funeral homes is expanding with the addition of a new facility in North Jackson. The purchase of an existing building and expansion of that building was made possible by Huntington Bank and the Mahoning Valley Industrial Loan Fund (MVILF) through MVEDC.
